- I am a female impersonator in the mid west and I have fallen in love with Yma, and I am doing my best to share her with the rest of the world. I would like to share with everyone who can't bid on original recordings or can't get anything to come in when ordered from record store to look for Yma on electric lounge remixes the have modernized and sampled some previous recordings and I dare say made them even more mezmorizing to the younger modern ear, and isn't it nice to know that nyc and european dj's are facinated with our godess.

- One of the best such remixes is, of course, Electro Lounge but another that is not only a remix but that contains new Yma Sumac vocals on top of and mixed with the old is Mambo Confusion. I don't know of any other remixes off-hand though, but there are certainly lots of collections and movie scores using Yma's original music!
