Review and Analysis of Un Picaflor la Desangro by SunVirgin.com

Un Picaflor la Desangro (A Hummingbird Took Her Blood) is probably one of the most unusual tracks on this collection in that it is spoken rather than sung over the guitar by Moisés Vivanco. First in Quechua, then in Spanish, the tale is dramatically told of how the hummingbird took her blood, possibly referring to a lost love.

It is interesting to note that many pressings of the 78 rpm disk had no credits whatsoever for this side while a few credit the vocals to Rosita Vivanco.
